AUSTIN, Texas, Sept 6, 2006 – Dell® and Apple® have recalled more than 5 million lithium-ion batteries, made by Sony®, for various mobile PCs. This is the largest computer industry-related recall in history and has brought about public commentary regarding the safety of lithium-ion battery technology.
Motion Computing® uses lithium-ion batteries from Sanyo®. Motion’s products are not affected by the recent Sony-related recalls issued by Dell and Apple.
