Motion Computing’s newest channel partner – DH Technology – strengthens Australasian subsidiary
SYDNEY, NSW, April 11, 2006 — Motion Computing®, a leader in mobile computing and wireless communications, today announced its agreement with DH Technology, a leading point-of-sale distributor based in Australia. Under this agreement, DH Technology will distribute Motion’s slate tablet PCs, including the LS800 and LE1600, and peripherals via a national network of specialized resellers in key vertical markets like healthcare, education and government.
According to Steve Joyce, national sales manager for DH Technology, “We look to partner with industry leaders and know Motion and its line of award-winning products are the right fit and complement our current product line-up.”
This partnership strengthens Motion’s network of approximately 1,450 channel partners, who market the company’s products worldwide and are responsible for an estimated 85 percent of Motion’s overall sales. This agreement follows the recent expansion of Motion’s global presence with the addition of an Australasian subsidiary.
