LONDON, February 4, 2004 – Motion Computing today announced it has appointed two additional resellers in the UK to broaden its network of lead channel partners. This will enable the company to reach new markets and meet growing demand for Tablet PCs in the UK.
Motion Computing selected 3CUK and Box Technologies for their established reputations as pen specialists and respective expertise in providing portable computing products to specific vertical markets through their own reseller networks. 3CUK will be responsible for Tablet PC sales in the utilities, mapping, financial services and insurance fields; Box Technologies will integrate Motion's product line into the retail and field sales automation markets.
These latest agreements will strengthen Motion's ability to make its range of ultra-mobile Tablet PCs available in key markets, and fits into the company's strategy to build a worldwide network of leading resellers.
Both resellers join Ergo Computing, Motion's first appointed UK reseller, which has already established a track record of selling Motion's line of Tablet PCs and accessories to the education and health markets. The three lead reseller partners will support Motion's complete range of mobile products and peripherals including the M1300 Tablet PC featuring Motion View Anywhere™, the latest innovative display technology for Tablet PCs that enables indoor and outdoor use.
